27 augustus 2010 // In bijlage vindt U een artikeltje uit de ‘Economic Times India’, van deze maand dat een Indische vriend van mij doorstuurde. Toen ik laatst in India was, en vlug vlug een presentatie in elkaar stak omdat ze mij plots nog ergens wilden laten spreken, kreeg ik van die vriend te horen dat ik wel erg op een Indiër begon te lijken.

Ware globalisering

19 augustus 2010 // Terug na een deugddoende vakantie… en voor mij persoonlijk betekent dat ook dat ik terug ben gekomen met heel wat goeie voornemens en een lange lijst van werkpunten. Gezien ik in de voorbije 2 weken heel wat boeken heb gelezen over Azie, realiseer ik mij meer dan ooit dat we veel van de Aziaten kunnen leren. Dat zou een ware ‘geglobaliseerde wereld’ zijn!

Having Leterme as a ‘prime minister’ is not good for Belgium… (04 januari 2010)

I’m not gone give any personal opinion about Yves Leterme as a politician.
We all know he did a bad job in 2008 but I’m willing to believe that he has learned a lot in the meantime and that he is going to do a lot better now .
But he could/can only change himself ( even that is already a difficult job !) changing the ¨public opinion is a lot different…certainly when you see that Globally .
Don’t forget that every where in the world they heard about the fact that Belgium had no government for more then half a year..and that fact was linked to ‘Leterme’ ! We were then seen as a ‘political instable country’ and in all the books and articles about internationalisation they learn businesspeople to be very careful with partners out of those countries.
So whenever a non-Belgium company is doubting to sign a contract with a Belgium company or f.ex. a French or Dutch company and somewhere in their mind they connect Leterme with instability …I’m 98% sure the decent businessmen will lay aside the Belgian contract
